Advice On Minoxidil Needed For Hairline

I've been on finasteride for 5 months now. It has definitely thickened up my vertex a bit. Forelock is still a little sparse.
Apply minoxidil on temples. Should I start minoxidil on forelock too ? Is it worth it ? Or should I give more time to finasteride?
