Age 30, where do I fall on the Norwood scale?

I am now 30 and have noticed hairline recession over past 2 years. Which Norwood number do you think I am?

You don't need to use anything, your hair is fine. Maybe some thinning at the line going on, but that will happen to most men, even those who dont go bald.

You have descent hair I'd say closer to nw2 but a thick nw2. As others have said you do have thinning on front hairline.

I think finasteride is the best option to strengthen those hair. Minoxidil could potentially wreck your hair and skin. You should try finasteride as your first line of defense and add minoxidil after a year of things don't improve.
