i'm sorry to bother you guys but i would like to have some info concerning alfatradiol dosed at a 0.025 percentage ( brand name PANTOSTIN ) as i'm looking for a topical androgen that especially target testosterone and not only prevent dht from attacking hair follicles .

I'm not willing to use RU considering the unknow safety profile ( and other anti androgen like oh flutamide ) and unfortunately i can't afford CB so i would really appreciate if a knowledgable guy could help me since i'm not able to find a definitive answer concerning alfatradiol and its effect on scalp testosterone or not.

Thanks

Have a look at Eucapil as another option. Alfatradiol is a topical estrogen, Eucapil (fluridil) is a topical anti androgen... both do different things and both seem to have limited efficacy.

Thank you so much for your answer but i'm not willing to add a topical such as eucapil/ flutamide/ RU considering their safety profile and systemic absorbtion and unfortunnately CB is a bit too expensive for me on the long run

the thing is that alfatradiol seems pretty weak and safe and taht's what i'm looking for since i'm already on dutasteride but my hairlin keeps on receding and i'm suspecting the extra testoserone .

and concerning alfatradiol, it is speculative on my part but I think being an estrogen its possible that it has an indirect effect on testosterone i'm just looking for someone knowledgable to give m a definitive answer since i'm a bit retarded.

Topical fluridil is highly hydrophobic and hydrolytically degradable, it is systemically nonresorbable
is nonirritating, nonsensitizing, nonresorbable, devoid of systemic activity, and anagen promoting after daily use in most Androgenetic Alopecia males

From what I can remember does alfatradiol have extremely weak estrogenic properties and is more of a weak 5 ar inhibitor but I am open to being proven wrong.

You won’t get any side effects from Eucapil. I’d be more worried that you’ll get any effect at all... it’s a very low concentration. The results from the 1 clinical study seem promising but it’s been very quiet since.

Interestingly the patent expires soon, wonder if anyone else will start producing it?
