Looks like caffeine is the major ingredient, which to my knowledge has never been proven to be an effective hair loss combatant.

I'm sure you'll all be very interested to know that I've purchased some of this shampoo today.

I'll keep you updated with my findings team.

I'm guessing this is about Alpecin, not Alopecin?

It doesn't stop hair loss, and it will dry your hair out. As for the caffeine claim by this company, they don't claim to regrow hair, just keep what you have, which it doesn't. Caffeine may speed up hair growth, but that's the existing ones, not bringing back the lost ones.

It smells nice, and that's about it.

If this is as succesful as they say it is there must be a lot of people walking around with hair like straw.

I tried it for a few days! Smells lovely! lol xD

Erm, I dunno I thought I noticed the little hairs were more pronounced but it could have been my imagination. I don't want to use it any more really as yeah I'm worried about the lack of testing with it and I'm scared of damaging my follicles.

Apparently though, in tests it did encourage follicles to grow when they were just placed in it, like in a petri-dish or something :)
