Am I balding? 16m Asian been like this since young

I recently got a haircut and ever since young my hair was see through when it’s wet etc but the thing is the middle is thin since young however I have the most perfect hairline no receding at all and my father is not bald so I don’t know just a little paranoid

Being able to see through to your scalp is very normal for people with your hair type, it’s difficult to diagnose with just pictures. Your hair strands are very straight and very coarse, but have low density (more space between each follicle). Plus you have light skin. I personally don’t think you’re balding.

One way to check is to find two mirrors, one wall-mounted with overhead lighting, and one handheld. Look into the handheld mirror at your reflection in the wall-mounted one, and tilt your head in several different directions so you can see every part of your head from the same angle under the heavy lighting conditions. If the density appears equal all over, your hair is in good shape.

Yeah I can see my scalp from my side everywhere your right I’ve been like this since as young as I can remember

No I have not but I just recently posted another update on my profile on how my hair is going what do you think am I still balding?

You have extremly straight hair. Other hair types will lay down at a certain length while straight hair will still stand up like a building, which reveals scalp. That is not balding.

I know that Asians do not have natural hair often, there is no situation to worry about
