Hi. Forgive me for any grammar mistakes, English is not my first language.
So, I'm 20, I have thick hair and it's very long. But recently I've noticed a "small" recession on my hairline. I didn't notice it before because my hairline was always covered up. But when I did noticed, I went crazy! I also have seborrheic dermatitis, and had been itching my hairline like crazy, without giving a damn ababa it. I only decided to seek professional help after the pain and the recession started to worry me.
My therapist is bald and I showed him my hairline, he started laughing and said that I have nothing to worry about, but I just didn't buy it.
I've been checking it for the past four months and nothing has changed, when I found out that it could be just maturing, I was a bit relieved, but not much.
I should point out that my father wasn't bald, neither were his brothers. None of my grandpas were bald (although my mother's father was balding when he died, aged 66). My hair is thick and it rarely ever falls, and I have a natural widow's peak (extra v shaped hair on my forehead), but I shave it off because.. well I want to.
I measured them and it's 1.3cm on on side and 1.5 on the other. Should I worry? Should I start taking medications? Is it just maturing? Help me out guys!
