Am I Balding Or Is It A Mature Hairline (pics)?

So, I noticed some recession when I was 13 years old. Seriously. Then I think it might have receded it a bit more at the temples but not as far as I can tell. I am now 24 years old. I don't have thinning anywhere else. My hair doesn't fall out. However, I'm scared that the recession/balding may get aggressive. I have also heard of the mature hairline phenomenon but I am not sure if I fit the bill. I've attached some pics of my current hairline below. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

Last photo shows you are receding into a NW3. Time to start treatment if you want to slow things down.

Without previous pics of at least two years ago, how can you tell he is receding to a N3?

I had pretty much the same hairline when I was 14... Certainly my hairline hasn't changed at least in the last 5-6 years at least. I'm 24 now

Your density looks good to me, but you might try 5% minoxidil twice a day for a few months and see what it does just as a precaution.

Don't try anything, you're good until you notice hairloss. If it happens youll know

How is your crown? If it is thinning, there is no more denial and you are balding.

Thanks. I thought minoxidil didn't work for hairline though?

According to the product guideline, that's true but I've yet to see a person with a receding hairline due to AA, that wasn't thinning elsewhere. Actually, the best thing you could probably do for your hair right now, is to not carry an emotional load or stress about it. When you are 44 you will still have losts of exciting things to do in life and appreciate having hair. That's twenty years from now and I can almost guarantee you, there will be a genetic cure for baldness then. Meantime, get fit, stay healthy, have fun!

How do you reach that conclusion objectively? I'm not doubting you or trying to create controversy, I'm just trying to learn how to analyze these potentials myself.
If you look for his corners of hairline you can see small hairs normally small hairs it's miniaturization hairs aka dying hairs and ofcourse his corners are deep who it's the first stage of male pattern baldness.

But yeah it's possible his hairline stay this way for many years, I have see guys who receded and stop.

So should I jump on finasteride then? My hairline hasn't moved in a long time. Should I wait and watch? I don't want to take finasteride if I don't have to.

I don't like to recommend to take finasteride, but it's the only way to stop your hairloss

Probably get on finasteride like others have said just in case. However, that is a real odd hairline (not in a bad way). The 3rd pic you posted looks pretty advanced cause it looks like the hairless areas are creeping up the side into your center forelock area.

However your front-on regular pic looks great and on your side pics everything looks good, you just have temples that go back at right angles from the front. That right angle should be about one inch lower so I would get on finasteride though
