Here I see something that is typical of many of the "am I balding" questions. Your hair has a tendency to clump it appears. This can make the spaces between hairs more reflective, yes, so you probably have no issues yet. It would be easier to tell if the length were grown out and photographed wet. This is how I have monitored my crown area because it can be difficult to tell when the hair is dry if this is only still in the thinning stages.
You hair isn't long enough here but with longer hair, I advise people to use a technique that I call "making yourself look bald". It is in essence the opposite of doing a comb-over where one arranges hair so it looks the least bald possible. So a person would carefully move strands apart in the attempt to make one's thinning hair the most bald-looking possible. If you can do this, then yep, it's alopecia. If you cannot, then it is due to lighting affects. It's worked for me all through my regrowth attempts because if you can make yourself appear bald or balding, then you are/still are.
Goddess bless.
