Am I giving the right decision? **First Month Update**

Hello everyone. I am new in this forum. It's been like nearly 1 month. I will first introduce my hairloss history a little bit. I am 20 years old and my hairloss started when I was 17. At the same time i was suffering from seborrheic dermatitis and i thought this was making hair loss. After fighting with seborrheic dermatitis for like 2.5 half years, at the last I nearly got rid off it. I did not really think that my hairloss is MPHL but eventhough I don't have seborrheic dermatitis anymore, I am still suffering from too much hairloss. My hairline remains same but i am losing hair from only crown. My doctor made 2 mesotherapy sessions and will now start making PRP treatment but I don't think that this treatments will help (Mesotherapy did not reduce my hairloss, but my hair looks more alive) . I am bored of losing this amount of hair, I nearly see 100 or more hair strands in shower for 3 years. I have decided to use finasteride but I am a slow developing man. My facial hair has recently started to grow. I don't want to use minoxidil because of hair cycle and I want to save minoxidil as a last chance. But am I doing the right thing with starting finasteride at this age? Can finasteride make regrowth in my crown area without minoxidil? Plus I am a little bit afraid that finasteride can damage my hairline because of reflex hyperandrogenecity.

Treatments:
Bioting 5mg everyday
Alopecia foam %7 procapil ( every morning and evening for 2 months. No improvement has been seen)
Mesotherapy (2 sessions, did not help my hairloss)
Will start PRP at 30 March ( I don't think this would help too)

****FIRST UPDATE****( I will update this thread monthly so it can give some idea to others who are in the same situation with me)
30.03.2016-- Started propecia

****05.05.2016****
It's been more than 1 month. I don't know if I had finasteride shed or not because I always shed too much. I don't know if finasteride is working or not because after first week my shed has decreased a lot. I thought it is a placebo effect because it is nearly impossible to start working that early. I nearly see 30 hair strands in shower but in my daily life when I run my hands through my hair I always see hair in my hand so I don't know guys. As side effects I had none. I think only my nose is more oily than before. I still have morning wood ^^ Besides this, I think it has possitive effect on my psychology because I feel like I am doing what I can for my hair and I try to think less. Here are my latest photos. Photos can be misleading because my hair is longer. I tried to shoot with the same angles. I added one more photo with different angle for showing my hairloss better. (I am a diffuse thinner but it can not be seen in this photos. I may add it another time)

It probably is. If your afraid of an itching scalp, finasteride is definitely the best way to go.

You might want to consider hydrocortisone, or some anti inflammatory. It definitely helped my scalp. Even
without using Minoxidil. It will make your hair feel better, without itching. It's only not recommended for people
with glaucoma, which of course doesn't apply to you.

And I had issues as well, with liquid Minoxidil.

You have enough hair, it's worth saving.

finasteride will definitely grow all of it back, you will be a Norwood zero in no time!

Best of luck.
Thanks for your reply. I bought finasteride today. I have just one fear, can finasteride affect my hair in a bad way ?(I mean speeding up the process etc.)

Great hairline. That's really important so good news. And finasteride should make your crown normal again.

As for the bad news... It looks like you may have retrograde alopecia... This means your norwood destiny may be pretty bad, hopefully meds will let you keep what you have.

Probably I have it, yes :sobbing:. But what about Telogen Effluvium? I always knew that I was losing hair all around my head but, I didn't know that my hairs around my ear was this thin. I don't know what to think or do, I am lost in probalities.

Guys it's been 3 months but I don't see any effect. As for the sides I only started to have more acnes near my nose. No sexual side and no sign of gyno. Should I keep taking it or switch to dutasteride? I kinda have long hair right now so photos can be misleading but after haircut I will post photos.
