Yep, anything I can do now?
How old? Sorry so you are 18. Here's thing about Asian guys and you know it, that is good. When you guys bald, the hair on the sides and back still looks really good. I think you could be a good transplant candidate someday but tell me your goals and what you might want to take. Yes. I looked again. Your fringe is perfect so that's good!

Normally at age 18, I would say topical minoxidil but your temples are really bad. I am a lawyer not a doctor but if I were you, I would go on finasteride and oral minoxidil plus a dandruff shampoo twice a week.

I want to retain my hair and have bangs, it is achievable now but I am worried how bad it will get in a few years. I want to thank you for taking time out of your day to help me. I also use dandruff shampoo every day which I just learned today is bad. Could this be a cause to my loss too?

Use a blue/green one, it doesn't matter which and I want you to add another one called nizoral and then you can pm me in a couple of weeks if you want. You have very nice hair but those triangles in the temples worry me. If you see them lose their form, then act immediately because the crown and temples would be linking up which is terrible for whites but I know it's harder for you guys some times.

Your temples are not bad at all. That person is on aggressive treatments and wants a juvinelle hair line. You’re a NW2, it could just be a mature hairline. Your density is great too. Try using minoxidil and If it keeps getting worse consider finasteride

I disagree. My own program has nothing to do with conclusions. I looked at his hairline carefully and there are artifacts to indicate that that is not a maturing hairline, which is BS as a term. The hairline is beginning to go more towards the center in front and further back, which I mentioned about their linking. I don't think that I mentioned any palliatives that were incorrect. Your recommendations are more urgent than mine, lol. I only recommended shampoo. I was holding off on Min for a couple of weeks. Anyway, good luck OP and Min is a good idea too @5%.

It is BS because it doesn't tell us anything. Plus, that hairline is way back farther than say, a younger Tom Selleck's. I use the test whether a person can still part his/her hair on the side and I don't think this fellow can. I have a similar situation in front now that my crown all filled in.

Compare that hairline to Jeff Daniels or Peter Jennings or many others. That term also misleads many young guys to post "am I balding or not?", meaning people wait for treatment since it is only a "maturing hairline". Eh, I am just one person and OP had no answers when I worked with him. But yes, for some like Sting perhaps, recession can stop in the front but I wouldn't depend on that with my hair.

Goddess bless.

Well most said my hair is maturing, are you saying if someone sais that it basically means, I'm balding? People can be at nw2 up until 60 or 70, I think a mature hairline is a valid term

Natural or mature? I have looked at hairlines for 36 years. This is more pattern recognition than anything else. Sometimes, they halt but that is a lot of recession for a young guy. Anyway, the recommendations are the same, Keto and Min

I haven't seen your hair. I know I read that often doctors tell people it is just a maturing hairline but Op's is way back. To me, maturing hairlines tend to slope back in the corners but they don't extend that far back. Regardless, if you can't part your hair on the side, then it is something to address so at least it doesn't get worse.

Sorry to ask. If someone can't part their hair on the side, you mean if there is a big gap, that prevents a clean meet up with the sides and top?

Well, I was always worse in the crown so in that mode, you have to part on the side and swirl back. It works for a while provided no more hairloss. The issue there is many men keep "swirling" when they have very little left and it looks horrible strewn across the scalp.

Maybe look at Nixon's hairline which was always a weird one. He backcombs because his temples are gone but nothing else. Now that I am in that mode but less so, I look better with bangs or parted in the middle. If I part on the side, my recession is more apparent but females rarely use side parts anyway. My hair now parts itself in the middle. You will have to play around with yours in different parts to see. Sting is another with nicer hair but the hair loss was just like Nixon's and his stayed all these years but he might be using finasteride. But Sting couldn't part his hair on the side either.

I started balding at 19 and I have looked at hairlines ever since and you can see certain patterns again and again. You can't always predict but I wouldn't go untreated just in case.
