Thanks in advance for your help guys!

I will keep this brief. I'm male, 23 and have been concerned about this for 5 months. I would be grateful for your opinions.

I was really happy with the way my hair was up until May so I’m really interested in recent change eg. Relative changed over the past 6-9 months rather than absolute Norwood number.

Firstly, do you think it has receded over the last couple of years?
Secondly, do you think it has receded between today's and July's photos?

This is a photo from when I thought I first noticed recession (July 2018):

And here is one I took today (same angle, same lighting...ish):

Here are a load of pictures of my hairline from before I noticed recession (chronological order):

You seem to have a slight slight recession.
Not sure how fast it could be.
I think you should see a derm and have him took close and professional pictures Of your scalp.

Thanks Roberto_72.

Have been to see a so-called expert in London. Unfortunately I got the impression they were just preying on my insecurity to get me to hand over my money. So I’ve lost faith in the objectivity of their assessments.

You should try with a doctor who does not sell his own product. A verified dermatologist, not a “trichologist” or “hair clinic professional”.

Yes, you do seem to have a bit of recession, but your hair still looks very good man!

So like Roberto said, visit a licensed dermatologist instead of someone with his own clinic who could be in it for the money.

It’s hard to predict how fast everything is gonna go. You could be maintaining this for a couple years, but it might be receding further in the next couple months. For now, if I were you I would wait and see how it’s progressing, but if you’re really anxious about losing your hair you could look into treatments.

I have same recession and pattern. I think you could be loosing hairs for last 4 years.but you noticed it recently. I am 33 and you are 23. Things are going south for you. Take measures with all side effect considered. Best luck.
