Hi! I am a newbie who needs advice.

I am 52 y.o. My hair loss wasn't bothering me until a recent experience at a kamikaze barber. Also, I had been precoccupied with other health issues and wore a hat most of the time.

I need advice how to proceed.

My brother uses a system by Kevis. I have no idea what is in it. It works for him. But there are no clincial trials that I am aware of. Seems like snake oil to me.

I thought of starting with Rogaine 5%, Nizoral, and Revivogen.

I need advice on that.

A few questions: Can Rogaine be used anteriorly, near the hairline? What about reviveogen?

Since I take othe RX medication, I have thought to avoid proscar because of side effects.


I apprciate the advice from the members, who have boldly gone before me.

Hi and welcome. As I do not have experience with Revivogen, I do with Rogaine. Minoxidil can be used anywhere you are using hair. I use it all over the top of my scalp and got great results.
