yes but the temples aren't completely destroyed yet just thinned out and the itch disappeared from them suddenly and they're maintaining like they've stopped balding all together, same happened with my crown as wellThe pattern of hair loss you had is normal though. A lot of guys start at temples and then thin qt the crown (nw3 vertex)
it's likely because inflammation is caused paradoxically both by improvement in the scalp flora and environment and increased hair diameters and also because inflammation can also be due to hair loss so it's hard to know which it is. When I had a massive shed to baldness, I couldn't keep my hands out of my hair as it itched and fell out in a very short period of time. It's just very weird observation so i decided to share it with you guys
Anyway, i started balding around 6 years ago. At the start my balding was exclusively concentrated on my temples and for quite some years it stayed like that. Crown was thick and midscalp with thinning but not as much as crown and no issues elsewhere
Fast forward 5 years and i felt like all the itching had started disappearing from my temples and concentrated on my crown gradually. My temples were still there but very very diffused and the hair offered no cosmetic value unless it's grown out and styled
Fast forward another year and now i have a bald spot on my crown, but the hair is still also there and nowadays my itch disappeared from both my temples and crown and concentrated on the surrounding NW7 pattern
So to cut story short my question is, shouldn't male pattern baldness by gradual and progressive? Shouldn't DHT keep attacking the most sensitive areas first (aka the areas that started going bald first)? It seems like in my case my follicles sensitivity shift and change and DHT targets specìfic areas in specific times instead of progressing normally by diffusing me all over or destroying one part at a time
Nowadays i have absolutely NO itch on the temples or the crown and no signs of DHT attacking despite them being the most sensitive, but suddenly the supposedly less sensitive areas started itching like DHT is raping them constantly and it doesn't make sense to me. It's like the follicles sensitivity shift on their own and i'm not sure how or why but maybe this could help us somehow if we can figure out how to control the sensitivity of the follicles
exogen hair increased by hands, then more hair sheding. When I had a massive shed to baldness, I couldn't keep my hands out of my hair as it itched and fell out in a very short period of time.
Wait, I didn't get it. Are you trying to say that new growth causes itch?it's likely because inflammation is caused paradoxically both by improvement in the scalp flora and environment and increased hair diameters and also because inflammation can also be due to hair loss so it's hard to know which it is. When I had a massive shed to baldness, I couldn't keep my hands out of my hair as it itched and fell out in a very short period of time.

Does this look like a thinning part?Hair follicles each have their own levels of sensitivity to DHT. Yes, the ones nearer to each other generally follow a similar trajectory. But you can have 'clusters' of follicles on different sides of your head that follow their own trajectory. The classifications are merely guidelines to help identify common patterns and most likely trajectories. Some people start with crown first, some start with hairline first, some start with both, often at different rates, some have a thinning part; and there are many other combinations. You can start with the crown follicles first, but then that might not show signs of further loss for months; then all of a sudden you lose a large section your hairline in weeks.

Would you say it’s Telogen Effluvium? Here’s some wet hair pics. Idk if wet hair gives a better insight?
nah it doesn't.
