another shed?

Ive been on finasteride. - 1mg daily and minoxidil twice daily, for about 5 months now. I had a shed about a month in and then went a long time without seeing any hair loss. Like even in the shower or anything I wouldnt lose hair. Now Im starting to lose hair again, not only in the shower but just running my hands through my hair. Is this another shed?... or what could it be?

It's a natural fluctuation in your hair cycle more than likely, everyone (teenage girls, sixty year old men, it doesn't matter) lose hairs at varying rates. Personally I have long hair (around 15 inches) so it's easy to see that I'm losing hairs all the time, every time I have a shower I'll take out a large clump of my hair but it's been that way ever since I can remember - i.e. since I was about 5 or so, when I certainly wasn't going bald. We need to get away from obsessing over how many hairs are falling out, the most common symptom of people on Propecia in my opinion isn't people having sheds, it's people counting hairs and freaking out because of natural fluctuations in how many are falling out.
