Has anyone taken the time to look at pictures and determine an average measurement of their yearly recession rate? I have done several evaluations, and have come up with 1/16"-1/8" yearly. That's what I did from 2002 to 2003, but I seem to be holding it up pretty well lately with Rogaine 5%. Let's see what the following months hold for me now that I am growing it out!

Feel free to state your estimated averages in this thread

Good Luck!

I lost about an inch on my temples in one year. Plus if rogaine works for you it can stop your hairloss as long as you continue its use for the rest of ur life. I hope it works for me so I wont loose anymore. If i lost any more hair I would be screwed. Right now im at the point that Ive had the most hairloss you can possible have without it being noticeable. I cant afford to loose anymore.

And Xzel, I would keep ur hair short man. You dont look bald at all with ur hair. If your hair looks fine, why change it.

I put two frontal pictures together, and came across that number. It might even be more of a solid 1/8" to 1/4", but then again, I'm having a bad hair day this morning so I won't judge. Either way, those were not exact measurements. It's what I feel I have lost in that timeframe...

what you're doing are symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

you know, when you spend a lot of your time nit-picking over microscopic things, like measuring your hairline in millimeters, or washing your hands every time you touch the keyboard because you're afraid of germs, or not able to drive to work a different way one day because it wouldn't be your normal routine...

lighten up, 1/4" of an inch or whatever.. geez...

He may or may not be obsessive Bob. But if he is, it is his magnificent obsession, not yours. So butt out!
