Any chance of recovery?

I'm 21 and I started losing my hair at 16.
I only found out about finesteride recently and I wish I had tried it when I still had a full head of hair.
I've attached 2 close up shots and one shot of my entire head.
It seems quite advanced so do you think it would be worth the cost if I tried minoxidil and finesteride together?

There's definitely hope, you still have hair in most places which is really good, definitely get on minoxidil and finasteride.
Youd could be the next success story, also think about getting on dutasteride if you don't get any sides from finasteride. It seems you have pretty aggressive male pattern baldness.

Nope... NW5 (sometimes even NW4) is basically point of no return. You'd need an hair transplant plus hitting the jackpot with finasteride and getting regrowth. Even then you still need to maintain for years to come.

very agressive male pattern baldness. Can you tell me about your family history of male pattern baldness?

Where there's hair, there is hope!

Both my father and his father are bald, but they started in their 30s.
I entered puberty really early and was covered in body hair when I was about 12.
