Remember late 80's early 90's boy band sensation New Kids on the Block. The guy with the poorest hair
always has something on his head or glasses to cover it up, that would be Donny Walhberg in the middle:

then most pics you see of them they got a hat or something on the poor guy - coincidence?

Just for those who think hair doesn't matter. I think they are trying to pull off the hip cool guy
look - but we here know whats really going on .

AJ Maclean of the Backstreet Boys had had a transplant. I thought it looked ok but then he had a Instagram post of him getting a haircut and his hair was sparse as fuuuuuuuuck. He still wears a bandanna or hat most times.

Boy bands are usually formed by talentless/poorly talented people who only have good-looks and hair.

Eh, a lot of the were good singers, actually and predate autotune.

The real talent was Martin White (Max Martin), who is the badass Swedish funk rock singer/songwriter who composed all of the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears and other hits.

His often forgotten band, that positively melts faces:

and he's been known to write songs with extreme metal bands too

All from the guy who wrote "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and "I Want It That Way"

As for East 17, the only good thing they gave us was the intro riff to "Steam"

The audio for which was promptly sampled by fighting game soundtracks
