Any Experience With Alpecin (caffeine Shampoo)?

I bought a bottle of Alpecin for under $10 and thought I'd give it a shot for my fine, thinning hair. Many of the reviews I read showed satisfaction with making hair feel fuller and some reporting that they thought it helped grow more hair as well, but I'm always skeptical about the legitimacy of online reviews. Anyone have any experience with a caffeinated shampoo regimen?

You're new here :)
Alpecin was revelaed as a scam/bad advertissment since a lot of time. Caffeine and this shampoo are totaly bullshit on hair. Don't waste your time.

Used it for a while.
No visible advantage.

I use it on the days im not using nizoral, can't say it has helped but it can't hurt. A really good conditioner recommended to me was viviscal, my hair is extremely dry and it helps somewhat with both nizoral and alpecin, i haven't been using it long but i think it helps.

Shampoo didn't do anything for me so I decided to try their after shampoo liquid. First couple weeks I noticed a reduction in shedding and was so happy that I might have finally found something that works. Unfortunately, it seemed to have lost it's effects and I continued to shed heavily so I ended up discontinuing. I would still recommend giving it a try, though. It's really cheap and may work for you.

It had a mildly useful impact on my hair thickness and rate of growth. However, I would clean my hair with another shampoo first, and let it sit for 5 minutes(5 actual minutes, not the 45 seconds most people seem to think is 5 minutes while they're in the shower).

Caffeine does have some impact on hair growth. Especially for someone already controlling DHT with something like Propecia.
