Any success stories from advanced hair loss sufferers?

Hi All,

I am in the desperate position where I have very aggressive hair loss and am bordering on NW5/6 at the tender age of 23. Partly my fault for not treating it properly/soon enough. Anyway now on the Big 3 and hoping for regrowth. Just wondering if there are any guys that have recovered from advanced hair loss? Would be really encouraging to see...

You will not recover fully. But if you see good results you can combine the medical treatment regrowth with a hair transplant and your hair will be much, much better

I was a advanced hair loss patient when I joined this forum. But after using finasteride and min 10 % for about 6 months I've grown a lot of hair. When I started my treatment I was almost bald but now I've recovered a lot. I suggest you do the same. Best of luck.

That's interesting. Do you think min 10% is much more effective than the standard 5%? Do you contribute this to your success?

I guess so. Because I know a friend who is using 5% and comparing to that my progress rate is tremendous. By the way it was suggested to me by my dermatologist.

I use the same finasteride, even m from india dude . Can you please kindly tell me if the the finasteride that you purchase are made in goa or sikkim?

@ isishearmyplea bro initially it was manufactured in goa but now it was manufactured at sikkim. But I don't think it matters because earlier and now it was made by cipla. Good luck for your treatment.

hi @Imperfect im also from India currently using kirkland minoxdil i bought from USA. can you tell me where did you find MX10 is it a brand name? i want to get 10% minoxidil in india if possible. thanks

go to a good chemist shop and ask for it, you will easily get it there? You recently returned from USA?

hi isishearmyplea, i got kirkland as one of my friends was coming to India i asked him to get for me. can you advise if can start taking finpecia with our consulting a doctor? is it safe to use? thanks

okay!! well its obviously better if you consult a Doctor and start using it, i did not though . The only problem is the Doctor might pro/anti finasteride, and if he is anti finasteride it kinda discourages you from taking it. Bottom line yes its good to consult a Doctor, but at the end of the day its your body chemistry and the drug. If you can get bloodwork done for your Testosterone and estrogen, it might help to gauge the drugs effect in future. If you get sides quit it, you ll be fine. Thats my advice. Best of luck dude.

thanks for the advise, i might skip the bloodwork thing, just scared to get the test done. i will think about this and if i feel ok i will start with finasteride 1 mg. can you give the brand name for minoxidil 10% in india please? if i cant find locally i will try to order online. thanks again.
