Hey guys!

I've been looming around this board for a few days now, and I've read alot about "facial side effects," "bloated ankles," etc. while using Minoxidil. I just started using 5% Rogaine a few days ago to help my thinning right temple, and I was hoping that some people could share some success stories about Minoxidil. It's very discouraging to read that it doesn't work well by itself. But maybe the guys that responded well to Minoxidil simply don't come to forums like this?

BTW I'm planning on using Tricomin soon as well. I'm not ready for Propecia at this time, because I'm only 21 and could do without all the side effects, proven or not.

Thanks!

Hey everyone.

I haven't been on here recently but I wanted to post about my progress. I've been using 5% Rogaine and Tricomin 2 in 1 shampoo twice a day for a little more than a month now, and I'm starting to see results!

A few weeks ago I was kind of disappointed with my treatment. I would apply the Rogaine morning and night to my hairline but I wasn't seeing any difference. I kept on with it anyways since I had nothing to lose..

However, just recently I've noticed a lot of hairs sprouting along my hairline. It's not just peach fuzz too; the hairs are thick and dark. I'm very happy with what I'm seeing! At this rate, it looks like my hairline will be coming back down in the months to come.

The funny thing is, I wasn't concerned about my hairline in the first place. It's not badly receded at all. I started treatment because I noticed my right temple slightly thinning out. (I wear my hair short and squared-off in the front.) But now, my right temple is filling in again AND my hairline is coming down.

I'll be posting again at a later date!
