Any ways to prevent future balding?

Im 15 and my dad has a full head of hair but my grandpa on my moms side is bald. My hair is just like my dad's, really think, but apparently that doesn't matter.
So I guess that I will also go bald in the future. I know they are working on cures for baldness such as stem cells and stuff, but are they working on ways to prevent baldness also?
So maybe by the time Im supposed to start balding I could take some pill or something that will prevent me from ever going bald.

I would wait until you have a confirmed diagnosis of male pattern baldness. If or when you get that, then start finasteride ASAP. You will be fine after that and likely never worry about your hair again.

Do you have any evidence to back up that claim?

Just keep a eye out for hairloss. If it occur it will probably be when you are around 25. It can be before or later though. It started for me when i was 24 and only became a issue for me when i hit 27.

As KO said, if it happens start with finasteride (or some new cure if it becomes avaliable) asap and you wont have to worry about it. I wish i did that
