Anybody bought from Amazon.com and live outside the U.S.??

I live in Canada and would like to know how is the shipping rate with Amazon.com...(U.S.)???They have a chart on their website but it is really silly...I know they are drop-shipping mostly of their stuff...Would like to know because I just received an order from Vitacost.. $62 total in shipping on a $70 order lol!! UPS sucks *** and they are only using this one......and most of the Canadian supplements store are just too expensive..

The company you buy it from chooses who the shipping company is.

I bought a 30 dollar order worth of minoxidil and paid almost as much in shipping!! When I called to ask why, the clown who I bought it from said because UPS picks it up, whereas if he used United States Postal Service he'd have to drive to the post office!

Amazon was cool, they credited me the money I blew on the brokerage fee from UPS, but I never used it....it was for Amazon products (books etc.) only.
