Anybody here have very little facial hair and/or body hair?

I'm a Norwood 3V, yet I have no chest or back hair, and very little facial hair. I only need to shave a couple of times a week. And I can't even grow sideburns.

he just has al lot off the wrong genes...

I thought about that, but my legs and feet are relatively hairy, and my arms are moderately hairy too. I kind of get the feeling that maybe I'm not done puberty. Maybe that's why I'm having these side effects. Maybe I f*cked up my body's development.

hmm I'm curious to hear how you old are too. I didn't start to grow a lot of body hair until maybe 19 or 20. I wish I was on something which lowered my testosterone at the time though, because it got out of hand.

I just turned 23. I started taking Propecia a month after I turned 21.

This is interesting to me. Over the last 4 years (21-25) I've gotten a little more chest hair, hair on my stomach, nose hair started growing longer, hair on the legs & arms seemed to thicken, etc. Now I'm wondering if by taking DHT inhibitors if I'm actually going to slow down the activation of these developing follicles. OR, am I going to look like chewbacca.

Um. Not sure if this was directed at me or not. If it is, NO I do not want more body hair. But I think my lack of chest hair, back hair, and very little facial hair is an indication of why I got such shitty effects from Propecia. Cripes, I'm a mess. Just to throw another example into this:

My twin brother is as hairy as f***. He was the type of kid who had a full beard at 15 and is covered in hair. His hairloss is far more worse than mine, and far more worse than most of you people in this forum.

So theres one example of a hairy person losing faster than a non hairy person with the same genes.

Keep an eye on your sex drive and erections. I don't want to make you paranoid, but I kind of have the feeling that the side effects I'm experiencing tend to strike young guys who aren't quite through puberty yet - ie. not much body hair, not much facial hair, etc. I didn't notice them so much at first because I was single.

I've discussed this very issue previously. At age 31, I still cant grow a full beard and have very little body hair. I have course hairs on my chin, and a few above my lip but there is no way I could grow a beard. I cant grow sideburns. My gf accused me of shaving my chest because its so smooth. I have very little leg and arm hair. I do have black, curly pubes under my arms and above my sack. These are very moderate, however.

My dad was a nw5 at age 25. He had very aggressive male pattern baldness. He was also a hairy ape. He had the thickest chest hair I've ever seen!

I'm average size in the penile dept. I have a very healthy sex drive, and I can gain muscle very fast at the gym(more free testosterone?) I also have stubborn "baby fat" that is hard to get rid of.

What does all this mean? I have no idea. I think all it proves is that genes/hormones are very complex and each of our bodies is an ongoing intricate chemical reaction that is always dynamic. Some things can be effected by meds, and some things are so genetically hard-coded that it doesnt matter what you do to change them outside of surgery.

Personally, I think its most likely that my DHT is low or low-normal. I probably inherited sensitive follicles from my dad but not his DHT level. This is probably why I'm balding, but very very slow.

DHT is the most potent androgen in the body! It makes testosterone look puny with its massive affinity for receptors. Theoretically, if someone was very sensitive to a drop in DHT for their androgen activation, then they would be most prone to anti-androgenic(sexual and others) side effects.

Mchair, I'm sorry you are still have sexual problems. All I can suggest is to do what I'm doing and eat healthy, workout, and take good supplements. You could even try an aromatase inhibitor. This should be only short-term, but it would lower estrogen and increase test moderately and you could see if it helped. One that really works is 60x0. You can read about it here.

Hey mchair how have things been going? Im waiting on my bloodwork from my family doctor still, she didnt check my estradiol lvls though which I think just might be the problem(hope).
