Hello. I'm hoping someone here can explain if my increase in Albumin should cause me to be concerned? I have been off and on Finasteride for about 8 months now and about 2 months ago I had a physical with blood work. The results came back that my Albumin was a little high (paperwork indicates below 5.1 g/dl is normal), mine is 5.2 g/dl. Also, normal globulin for me is 2.2-4.2 g/dl. Mine is 2.6 which is in range but on the low end. Why is one so high and the other so low? Any intelligent people here able to explain or tell me if I should be concerned?? Thanks!-Tim

Get tested again particularly for Testosterone, Free Testosterone, Bioavailable Testosterone, Estradiol and SHBG.

SHBG and Albumin bind up Free T so if you have low Free/Bio T, that may be one reason why. The more important question is, how do you feel?

Do you have side effects that have continued since quitting the drug?

Check http://www.propeciahelp.com for more info on tests and how Finasteride may have impacted your results.
