My scalp is super dry even with leave in conditioners and oils, and not over washing my hair. Is there a medical way to stimulate sebum production and activate the sebaceous glands?

How many times a week are you washing your hairs with shampoo and what shampoo are you using?
I’m limiting use of shampoos to like once a week. I’m using OGX biotin and collagen shampoo and conditioner when I do wash with shampoo.

I’ve been using leave in conditioners too. And coconut, olive, and black seed oils. Been using these for a pretty long period of time, maybe two months now. Still have a dry scalp. Can’t help but think Accutane permanently closed by sebaceous glands.

@pegasus2 forgot to include you too

Hey how long do you allow the oils to absorb and do you cover your head? Check out Divine Herbal oils and Regenepure DR shampoo. Theres also another shampoo I recently been using that’s good for the scalp Tony Maleedy Piroctone Olamine.

I leave the oils in overnight and cover my entire scalp. I’ll take a look at them. It’s almost like my scalp doesn’t want to be moisturized so I’m throwing everything at it to get something to stick

Interesting it also has black seed oil. I’ll definitely buy this oil then since it combines a bunch of other stuff.
Yea I found it on this forum, since using it I love it as before I used to mix my own oils with essential oils, which was way too time consuming and costly.
