I am thinking about doing a hair transplant at the end of this month. So far I have been to Doctor Jones and Pro-hairlines(http://www.prohairlines.com). The only other place I want to check before I go ahead with my procedure is Alvi Armani(from what I have researched is to be best). I want to know if anyone has done a hair transplant with either Pro-Hairlines/Doctor Jones/Alvi Armani??? and If so are you happy and satisfied???

please any help would be appreciated.

if you are considering somewhere called 'pro-hairlines' and say you are thinking of having a hair transplant at 'the end of the month' then you need to do a lot more research, A LOT !

Armani is among the best but you need to think about this for a long long time

other doctors you should consider are Dr Feller ,Dr Rahal,Hasson and Wong..........and there are others and im sure someone will come along and advise you of them

also, are you on any meds? if not then you should be ,you will need to be on them post hair transplant anyway to stop any further loss

:)

man,its surgery,of course you need to consider it for a long time.............im sorry but i just dont trust somewhere that trades under a name like that, any name is bad............you need to go to a specialist doctor like the ones i listed
read this site and do it thoroughly, you need to account for future hairloss, your expectations, future surgeries etc etc

you should really think this whole hair transplant over, you seem so concerned with making the easiest and quickest decision with little fuss and not wanting to travel far

You are not willing to travel to vancouver for Hasson and Wong? Man from my research they are the best and they are not SO expensive as armani, so i am thinking that if I am going to have a hair transplant i am going there. And i live in Greece!

If i am going to give 15-20k for a procedure, i am not going to risk all this money just not to spend an additional 1,000$ for air tickets.

You guys all make sense, however, if a problem arises then I must fly back every single time to see the doctor there....a big inconvenience....buy anyways i will be doing my own internal research or rahal and hassan and wong and since those are the two names that keep coming up I think i will choose between one of them and go ahead with one before the year is over. I can fly to BC for less than 200.00 so thats not a problem and my cousins live there. I have seen some serious work by these two doctors and damn did the patients look better afterwards.

I just want to do my best to help, maybe provide a little bit emotional support to others... we all know how much it changed us since it started.

I am from T.O too, I am saving up for a hair transplant if things keep getting worse.

at the mean while, I am just trying to work hard and not stress over it too much.

Dr. Alvi Armani seems to be recommended by Spencer Kobren, President from the American Hair Loss Association. There are quite a few patient videos on YouTube. I have been researching for the right surgeon since 2005 and still continue to research. Any assistance would be highly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
