I was looking online for info on Potassium as I read about it's health benefits (I read about potassium in the Bragg ACV miracle health system book) and wondered if there was any info on its impact on hair growth or baldness online.

While browsing, I found a website talking about the need to have a balance between Sodium/Potassium, Calcium/Magnesium, and Copper/Zinc.

1- Does anyone here have any opinions regarding the need for a balance between Sodium/Potassium and the other minerals? i.e. Is this worth investigating?

2- The website says that you could order a TMA test, which will tell u if you have too much Sodium or Potassium so you can adjust your diet..

Has anyone here tried this TMA test?

this is the site: http://www.stophairloss.com/calmag.html

Thank you

Listen if you want a cheap test then you need to do a hair sample. They aren't that expensive and it will give you a very good insight to your currect health.

Other options that are more accurate can be rather costly ie $350+.

Hair analysis starts at $99+

Thanks,
I see they test for the minerals the other test (TMA) looks for.

The TMA website says they look at a balance between minerals, if I go with a hair analysis I am assuming I wont know how to interpret the numbers to know if the minerals are balanced or not.

Yep, and that is what they do. Did you read the website at all?? They even tell you about foods to eat, etc, ok.

I don't know about Sodium and Potassium going together, I thought it was Zinc and Potassium? Getting Zinc and Potassium out of balance can cause prostate issues. read more about it here:

http://www.acu-cell.com/dis-pro.html

That site has some very good information about mineral balance, highly recommended

They are priceless IMO, so much cheaper than blood and urine tests. However, if you can afford the expesive stuff than go for it!

I recomend that everyone have their hair test at least once a year, people spend thousands of dollars a year to entertain them selves, and nothing on their health LOL
