I have no illusions my balding is because of a lack of Vitamin E, but I am not sure if I'm getting optimal levels. My hair has always been coarse and on the dry side, and of the past 3 years, I've noticed that it just looks brittle and unhealthy, balding aside. I've been on finasteride for nearly a month now and I shed just as much as I always have, and I'm starting to wonder if the shedding and balding are two separate issues. That is, I'm wondering if I have a naturally dry scalp or something, or if Vitamin E could help that. My hands and lips get chapped easy, so I don't have the most supple skin, but I am wondering if it'd be waste to supplement that.
Anyone here have luck with it? Tried Biotin for a few months a while ago and it did nothing. Again, not expecting Vitamin E to stop my balding, but it could be contributing to my shedding and poor hair health.
