Sounds like an Intercytex-type thing, perhaps a bit simpler. Will it work for AA? I have absolutely no idea.

Its good for those little kids, because if we think we have it bad imagine being 5 - 15 and being a slick bald kid that would be very hard to fit in, if this doesnt help us it still awesome news cause kids would have a much harder time then us, 50% Increase in new hair is awesome and hopefully once they start testing on AA we can see similar results.

well it's great seeing some kids get a full head of hair :). i would be devastated if i lost my hair as a kid
sounds like stem cell hair cloning, and if they managed to treat some children it is obv operational and if it treated AA which is MUCH harder since you have to regeneate hair that the immune system wouldn't reject rather than merely regenerating hair that lack androgen receptors but the problem is......
if we propose for it's use for male pattern baldness IT WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH 3 PHASES AND 7 YEARS OF RED TAPE BULLSHIT DESPITE THE FACT IT HAS BEEN PROVEN THAT IT WORKS AND DOESN'T KILL PEOPLE :badmood: :badmood:
That would kill this the same way it killed TRC

Stem cells hold big promise. Even if they dont lead us to cures for anything just being able to experiment on actual human cells of whatever type you want would speed up research exponentially I would think.
I expect big things in the next 20 years from stem cells, but nothing is ever certain with things like this.

we can experiment on almost any human cells we want now, you can sell your blood for reserch (well not whist on minoxidil or finasteride), i am sure it's the same with bone marrow, seamen, urine and i bet there would even be scientists paying for poo
i can imagine it would make nearly every medical procedure obsolete and maybe one day you could inject some stem cells and maybe replace someone's kidney without surgery or donation, in theory it's possible and we potentially can do it, though along the same lines we can potentially inhabit the moon but the problem with both is the lack of investment or research
