Anyone Know Why Finasteride Was Only Tested On The Vertex?

Surely, seen as tho most peoples hair loss starts at the hairline, this would be the main source of research. That fact that it hasnt been researched for this area does not make sense to me. Anyone know if any research has been done and can provide any evidence of this.

The official study was on the crown because they figured the results would be better there. It costs money and takes time so they choose to shoot for the best results and choose the crown.
There are studies like the 10 year study you can find on google where it has been found that finasteride does work everywhere even the front and temples. Its just less effective on the front and temples than the crown. Maybe it just regrows less hair in those areas because they tend to go bald first so the hair is further damaged? We can only speculate but it does work everywhere
There is little doubt right now if you choose one treatment that one treatment should be finasteride.
