As per the title, I had it in Sept and feel my hair is definitely worse all over the top - crown more obviously thinning and hairline seems thinner. Any stories? Any chance it will come back (to my normal balding level)?

Seems to be a common theme with covid and perhaps involves the NLRP3 pathway.

I've got covid right now, crazy how the world is being locked down because of this. Worst symptom I have is lack of taste and smell, hair hasn't fell out yet.

Tbh I think this is mostly BS. People blame everything on balding it just so happens people started balding this year and last year and want to blame covid for it
Telogen effluvium as a result of a covid infection has been pretty well documented since the first wave. Even mild infections can cause shedding a few months later which may be harder to recover from for people with Androgenetic Alopecia. It's not bullshit at all.

Telogen Efflevium from what is for the most part just a cold. No, I don't buy it, you lose hair to stress out of actually stressful situations. Like I said phase 1 of balding is to blame telogen efflevium and literally anything you happened to change since you noticed it. People want to blame that because Google tells them it's not permanent. A lot of people bald every year, aggressively or otherwise, and they'll think it's a hundred different things hell I thought it was hair dye i used at university first

Pretty much everyone has had the spike protein by now, not everyone is going to be NW7. It's just your weaker hair genes doing the work

Two papers discussing Telogen Effluvium from covid, literally the first links of many on google. Even if presents itself 'just as a cold' symptomatically, it seems there is a strong enough inflammatory response such that it can trigger acute Telogen Effluvium in some patients. It's not even unique to covid, regular flu infections have been indicated as risk factors for Telogen Effluvium. And considering the inflammatory component of Androgenetic Alopecia, it's not an outlandish stretch to be concerned about covid accelerating Androgenetic Alopecia progression. Even mild Telogen Effluvium could be difficult to recover for people with pre-existing alopecia conditions.

I’m glad it hasn’t been bad for you, but in less than 2 years it’s killed more Americans than literally WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, and 9/11 combined. And that’s WITH all the things done to fight it.

Lol . Are you really thinking that ? All the wars you mention, the average age was 18 years health guys ! Where Covid the average age of death is 80 years old people ! Do you have any idea how many people died before Covid every year of , for example pneumonia !? Yes, more people "than literally WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, and 9/11 combined" ! lol

It is really incredible how people still believe the sh*t from the mass medias. It is not the EBOLA ! Jesus . Read pubmed, ivermectine , Fluvoxemine, don't f*****g smoke and you will have more chances to died from a car accident than from covid .
we throw it away almost 100s years of moral science on how a new drug/vaccine it is approve ( read thalidomide history to understand it ) ! We gave none tested new technology vaccine to pregnants women and even worst , to kids that are not even at risk with this disease ! Simple to could compete against Russia and China to see who discover the best vaccine first. f*****g insane . And I am pro vaccination, but you need to do the things right .
