I purchase Dutasteride in a bottle in liquid form, $70 for 30mL bottles, 0.5mg/mL. Anybody else get liquid bottles, or is everybody taking it in capsules? Would there be any differences in effects or anything like that?

Thank you.

you are getting the same dose for $70 per month. I got my GSK capsules for under $60 after shipping. I doubt absorption will be much different. I just hope it tastes alright. Some people might buy the liquid so they can put it on their scalp easier, though you can just squirt a capsule into minoxidil. Either way, I don't think it will help your scalp much because the minoxidil solution does not give a steady delivery over at least 2-3 hours, I think. I suspect it is fastest at up to 30 or 45 minutes, an then much slower up to 2 hours, and then is a tiny up to 4 hours. I could be wrong about that, but slow delivery for 3 hours is what makes a topical like dutasteride work. Minoxidil goes inside the veins and stays put. Dutasteride goes into the blood and circulates. So you need give the follicle a steady supply. I'm going to find a vehicle and dose so good and so easy that it can't be patented, and everyone can use it cheaply to knock out scalp DHT.

Hey thanks for that response. Both of them are flavored and I only take them orally, and the taste is tolerable.

So in addition to taking dutasteride and finasteride orally, and using Rogaine 5% 2x a day, you say I should be pouring some dutasteride into the Rogaine bottle and applying that mixture onto my head? How many milligrams of dutasteride do I use in a 2oz bottle of Rogaine? The dutasteride solution is 0.5mg/mL if that is at all relative.

Maybe it's best to do the Rogaine/dutasteride mixture and use that as a topical and just take 1mg of Finasteride a day (no more dutasteride orally)?

I swear that after a few months of taking Dutasteride, my body settled out and actually made me MORE frisky than before.
