I remember everyone was busting out vellus for a while, but i don't recall hearing any new spooky updates (who was probably the best responder)or really anything on the stuff anymore. I remember i used it for a few months and all i really got was irritation (from the damn lemon) and a yellow scalp.

Yes i remember zix, i used it for 4 months and my hair went on vacation. Made my scalp feel real good though. Whoop deh dooh. Some guys are still using it though, but very few.

I thought Helsinki was in Finland.

Anyway, the 'helsinki formula' was a late 80's hairloss shampoo that had infomercials on teevee. I think it was based on polysorbate 80.

The funniest hair product I ever saw on tv was this sh*t that was in a spray can, like a can of spray paint. They sprayed it on a guy's bald head and then combed it.. and it looked like he suddenly had hair! Comb-able, thick, dark hair right were his bald spot used to be. It was on late at night on some obscure channel, and I laughed my *** off thinking how many people would be duped by this. (And no, it was not toppik).

A few years went by, and I actually met someone who admitted that he tried that same sh*t. He said he sprayed it on, and from what he could tell, there was much no difference from it and from a can of spray-on black shoe polish. Sucker!

But it is only effective with dog sh*t and urine that is SPECIFICALLY imported from India. The generic sh*t from Mexico and China will only give you cosmetically unacceptable peach fuzz.
