Has anyone seen results in 2 months or less on minoxidil?it seems as though either everyone and their mother sheds like crazy and sees no results or their are people that see results but it took months upon months.

Everyone on minoxidil answer this question:
how long did it take for YOU to see results?

answer plz.

I've been on it for about little over 2 months and propecia for about 3 weeks, I've been noticing thin black hairs growing on my hairline. Still no shed yet, my hair has kept its same density for about the past 4-5 months.

Blue: Since you ordered me to answer this question, I guess I have no choice

I have been on it over 6 months, and I first noticed some thickening and some regrowth around 3 months. I am NOT on anything else.

Things seemed to have stayed the same for a couple three months, and now, around month 6th, it looks like I am again going thru a positive growth phase...more thickening on the crown, and more regrowth. I looked hard with a mirror the other day, my hair is very short, buzz cut, and I'll be damned if it wasn't starting to look like it did when I was 21, again.

Disclaimer: Results are not typical. Individual user may experience, night blindness, numbness of the hands, feet and tongue, loss of sex drive, loss of wife's sex drive, temporary discoloration of the stool, loss of appetite, weight gain, weight loss, loss of height. In some rare cases, "imminent death syndrome" has been reported.

I can't say that I saw "results" but I did see some positive changes as early as month two.

At month two, In the corners of my temples I saw a noticeable increase in the length and density of my teeny little vellous hairs. Some of them looked as if they were starting to sprout again! Additionally, the quality of my hair that was existing but thinning improved remarkably.

However, at month four I realized that the regrowth has not occurred evenly as would happen on a bald patch of grass if you re-seed it. The 'sprouting' I saw begin on month 2 did not continue all over the bald area as I initially thought was happening. But I was not discouraged, because what happened instead is that the regrowth is occurring on the edges of the balding area, slowly reducing the bald spot a hair at a time. This is continuing slowly to this day. :)

I've been on the big 3 (Minoxidil, Finasteride, and Nizoral) for just about 6 months. When I started this regiment I was sporting a newly shaved head, which looked absolutely horrible. However, now that my hair has grown back to it's original lenght I can say that it definitely looks much thicker and just plain ol' healthier. I have been receding for quite some time now and although I've heard not to expect good results to the hairline I've been waiting anxiously for the one year mark. I have not experienced any shed while i've been on this regimen, at least not any noticable one. I'm just gonna keep on fightin this battle and hopefully come out on top. Love peace and chicken grease.....
Never lose hope, it's all a bald man's got...

blue,

I have also been on 5% minoxidil for 3 weeks, I hope to see good things in the next few months. I have also been on propecia for almost 11 months, so hopefully this will help with getting better results from the minoxidil. Good luck.

ART,
Have you been able to stop or slow down your hairloss atleast?

Blue,

It's really hard to say. I know I haven't stopped my hairloss, but I'm not sure if I slowed things down or not. My hairline has slowly been receding since about 2 or 3 years ago. I'm at about a Norwood 1.5-2 now. Things haven't gotten too much worse since i started treatment, so maybe I've slowed things down a bit. I've just heard of people being on propecia for years and their hairline kept getting worse, then went on minoxidil and got decent regrowth up front. That's what made me decide to get on minoxidil now and not wait any longer.
