Anyone using reduced Dutas dosage with good results?

At .5mg, the 5AR1 gets reduced by approx. 50% and the 5AR2 by 98+%. Has anyone tried taking 1 .5mg pill every 2 or 3 days, with the same results? The 5AR1 gets reduced by about 25-30% while 5AR2 reductions remains very high. I would think this may reduce any side-effects (and be less costly!!).

I think about taking dutasteride every other day. Lot of people do this so please inform us, thanks.

This is part of my response to a similar query:

"...when I switched from Finasteride, I took dutasteride every other day for 20 months and the results were little better than from finasteride, which in my case meant continued, but even more gradual frontal loss. Doesn't mean it wouldn't work for you, but it's quite a risk to take considering the long timeframe needed to judge a treatment's efficacy."

I actually took dutasteride every other day for 16 to 17 months, not 20 as I stated above, my mistake.
