are sheds all over your head?

when you get a "shed" from minoxidil or finasteride or even just progression of male pattern baldness, is it typically in areas of male pattern baldness like hairline or the front, or is it also on the sides and back of the head?

Also, when your hair is miniaturized does it get softer? And does ALL your hair become miniarturized at once, including back and sides?

I ask because all of my hair has gotten thinner and softer within the last year: front, back, sides, etc., although a lot is probably due to Telogen Effluvium. Yes, I know everyone thinks they have Telogen Effluvium at some point, but I'm pretty sure I actually have/had it.

I have definately shed at the sides too, this is relatively common from what I've read.
