I actually agree with some points there, however, only if you don't display the infamous nw7 pattern or a pattern that shows that you are indeed receding. I shaved my hair down to 1 multiple times during this quarantine and I actually liked my looks. Exercising somewhat felt way easier, not to mention doing things like handstands and jumping rope that were stressful to do with medium/long hair.
But bear in mind I'm a diffuse thinner, while my hairline looks intact I am thinning on top. I'm quite tall so other people don't see it unless I get down or something like that.
