Are There Fake Dr. Pen Microneedling Kits?

I am looking to buy a Dr. Pen microneedling kit. Looked through the usual Amazon and eBay listings (there are numerous). The prices for the same model and accessories (A6 Ultima) varied extremely widely (up to 30%). Not surprisingly, I expect to see some markups from resellers who obviously need to make a small profit to stay in business. But some of them are so cheap that I may wonder if they are knockoffs.

My question, however, is whether or not there are counterfeit or fake Dr. Pen around? From my online research, Dr. Pen is actually a Chinese company, with the pens themselves manufactured only in China. There are bogus claims (I believe) made by sellers that they sell genuine Dr. Pen made in the US. There are legit USA and Europe distributors, but their prices are markedly higher than those selling direct from China (on eBay).

I searched thoroughly on YouTube and elsewhere. No video or photo ever found on fake or counterfeit Dr. Pen. Is this a current concern I need to worry about when buying on eBay?

what did you end up doing? I also think all of them just come from China and the only difference is warranty and support - but I would love if someone actually has proof. It all looks very dodgy, when I search the address listed on the Australia website I see this generic unsigned warehouse in Perth. The hairlicious guy (website) even clearly just buys it from China , applies his branding and re-sells saying it’s his product
