Thats what i am asking...are you sure its worth it. Is it worth it for me? Ive been using it for almost a month now. Huge shed. Drives me nuts. I ran my fingers threw my hair and now there is four good looking hairs on my chest...along with a few vellus. Its so not worth this. Im only using it once at night because it makes my hair look crappy in the morning. Am i just using it enough to get the shed and not the regrowth. Is once a day royaly screwing me? I do however in the mornings use a qtip with minoxidil on my hairline. This i do not mind because its equally applied to the part of my hair i wish to see results from and i can go out afterwards. But at nights i apply 1mL to farther back...not to the vertex but to about the center of my head. This application is probally what causes the shed. But minoxidil doesnt work as well for the front and only using it in most places once a day is it even worth my time? Also i take proscar and nizoral.
One more thing that bugs me is I am not sure if the liquid even gets to the same follicules every time. Is there oral minoxidil?

Ive only just started on Minoxodil and i'm dreading any shedding but at the same time it could be a sign that it's starting to work! A month isn't long enough to judge as regrowth normally takes longer. Stick with it mate

eaglescout - You have to and you should stick with it for atleast 6 months.

I shed like a dog when i started it. Thought of leaving it many many times , but stuck onto it. I wont say it has done magic, but in the month after the shed I think I regained everything i shed.

Now I am shedding again, two months after the first shed, and the shedding is crazy and it has been going on for 40 days. but i ll stick with it..

Are you using anything else besides minoxidil? minoxidil does not stop hairloss by itself.
