Looking good but hairline juuust starting to creep back a little if I'm not mistaken. Not that I know your baseline from last year. Crown solid.

_has better hair than I ever had in my life RiP_

When you start seeing balding, start treatment, but as for now, it doesn't look like.

Which area spesifically? I dont think i've spotted any movement yet. If its the "top" part of the temple then i agree, the color is due to flash but its thinner than the rest. Its the part of my hair that im unhappy with.

Lol ty.
I think i'll inevitably start loosing hair sooner or later but i'll delay as long as possible as i dont want to jump on finestaride whilst still being so young.I dont think my doctor would prescribe it to me anyway yet.

3 weeks. Everything as before. Feels like swallowing a candy bean, like all the other pills I take mh.
Dosent finasteride take a while to kick in? Like the shedding stuff, and espcially the more severe side effect.

I may have conformation bais too though as i dont think most people who were happy with finasteride would bother posting here anymore, only those who get screwed up

Yes! As all drugs, they need time to build up in your system. 3months should be enough to tell if it helps or not.

I may open my own thread soon, as I extend my treatment more and more.

How much do you dose? Do you gradually step up your dosage?
I'd like to nip it in the bud before i would have to go further than just dosing finasteride honestly.

1,25mg Finasteride every day, in the evening before sleeping.

I cut 5mg pills in quarters with a pill cutter. I can't afford 90€ every month, the 5mg costs me 50€ every 1 1/2 year.

In the end, 1,25mg is equivalent to 1 mg.
I might end up switching to Dutasteride, or even using both. I will wait 6-12 months before deciding.

Yeah i read about the pill split trick. Its what i would like to do, however dermatologists can only perscribe 1 mg in my coutnry.

Wheres quite alot of differnet medications mentioned along with finestaride and minoxidil. I know thay finasteride is originally for the prostate so is there a more suitable drug to take for hairloss?

I went to a oncologist/andrologist/urologist. Derms refused to treat my hair loss from any angle. They are pure horseshit.

Andrologists are the real deal. Adrogenetic Alopecia... the conditions name says enough why its a reason to visit that kind of Doctor.

That sucks, i dont see the point in denying treatment like that. It just snowballs a simple fix into huge problem, which might be unrecoverable.

I dont have that option unfortunatley. I either get it from a doctor, dermatologist or i have to try to buy from a shady illegal site
