look to all you guys who have tried to help me,i am sorry for keep going on about avodart, guys like diet cola have only been trying to help but i am at a real low point at the moment,9 weeks on avodart and if mny hair got back to baseline it would take a great amount of regrowth, how can hair lose so much density in 9 weeks ,i expected a shed but do not beleive that i hacve had one,so if i do have a shed i will be nearly bald and 6 months ago chicks were saying what great hair that i had.
has anyone had experiances with this and had there hair get back to baseline.I would be satified with that now.

I apolise to everyone for keep going on about avodart but am really struggling here and desperart for improvement

sh*t, sry, I can´t give you no hope. I haven´t tried dutasteride, yet. I have been preparing myself mentally for dutasteride since weeks and posts like that really f*** me up. I just don´t know what to do! I wish nothing but the best for your hair! Good Luck, mate!

shedding is sometimes part of the process, a good sign even. Yeah, it's not nice. but it WILL GET BETTER. Whatever you do, do not lose your bottle and quit.

thanks filmflam, going to see it through ,the damage has been done ,so nothing to lose now apart from money ,which is nothing in comparison to hair

:)

in the mean time, try to take comfort in the fact that the hair that fell out *will* grow back and it will be stronger. it's working for you.

how do you know this filmflam.

I don't seem to be shedding anymore hairs than normal, thisd could be that the avodart is not effective in stopping my hairloss.

I hope you are doing well in your battle, seen your pics i think were at around the same in hairloss now,but 6 months ago my hair was awesome now not so awesome

3-4 months ago I came on here with the same complaint and got the same responses. I complained because I had fallen well below baseline. I was told that I had to ride it out. I took their advice and am glad becuase I completely recovered and gained some.

I have just started another shed but am not worried the least bit. I have moved up an entire norwood level in six months. If I can do this again within the year, I will be very satisfied. I know it still seems like it takes forever though.

Best of luck.

Stick to it bro. You are a diffuse thinner then you have a better shot on dutasteride. I think at least.
