Avodart Every Other Day Please Advise Any Long Term Users

I have been on Avodart since 2001 and proscar before before that(95). I wonder if it's ok to take avodart every other day. Any long time users please comment.

It's not as effective as every day but still better than finasteride from what i know. Why every other day instead of daily? the cost or something?

Cost my new insurance is not covering it. I tried the generic in the past seemed to be no as effective.

I assume you're maintaining your hair not expecting regrowth. So I'd day sure give it a shot. You could go every day and a half if you feel every other isn't cutting it.

I have to pay 700 dollars for a 9 month script.

Here in the US it's 205 a month(30 pills) through Walgreens for the brandname Avodart. That's a lot IMO.

I switched back to real avodart and am paying $200 a month. It sucks but I don’t think the generic at $20 per month was doing anything. Anybody know a cheaper source for brand name Avodart in US?

Avodart is marketed at substantially different prices in different countries. I pay about 55-60$ for a three month supply (#90). One may consider shopping overseas)
