Avodart Side Effects - Pain in right side

I was wondering if anyone using avodart has has any pain in the right side just below their stomach. Not sure what that is. I have been having some discomfort there and wondering if it's a side effect and if I should be concerned. I have been on avodart for about 3 months.

If you've been suffering for any length of time, and especially if it doesn't feel like it's improving, then you really should get yourself to a Doctor to be checked out. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about, but if the pain is persistent then you know that simply ignoring it isn't a realistic option.

Mike, yes, I've definitely felt that. It's just a little discomfort.

In my opinion, it's because the dutasteride is metabolized extensively in the liver, and I probably have a pre-existing liver condition.

I get the feeling whenever I take dutasteride, have an alcoholic drink-- take prescription drugs, etc.

I would go to the doctor to have liver tests taken.

I haven't done so because I don't care whether or not I die from liver damage.
