Thanks - have you checked my older posts, it just hasn’t seemed to change much over the years but the thinning is clearly there. Is it just slow balding process?
Yes. For many, you can see thinning and even a good blue dandruff shampoo might hold off actual balding for a while. If you halt progression here then you could always have that area thickened by transplants but generally your type of baldness is the best to have.

What's blue dandruff shampoo?

And Do you think dermarolling can help on its own?

what dose of finasteride would you recommend ?
Well, you might have to titrate up or down and there are different schools of thought about over-dosing being protective. I was on 1 mg for a while when it was proscar to save money and then on 5 mg of finasteride and then .5mg duta and they all seemed to work well for maintenance for many years but keep an eye on it because seemingly, they can lose effectiveness after many years, overnight.

Yes and Selsun Blue or Head and Shoulders plus keto shampoo. All treat inflammation.
Thanks.

I'm using nizoral 2% 2-3 times per week and have started dermarolling with 1mm once per week. Nothing else though as I can't take finasteride and minoxidil didn't work for me (don't particularly want to be on it anyway). Was wondering, do you know of any posters who have had success with dermarolling only, or any examples?

Yes. I see people on Tressless saying that or others who use different types of oils, like castor or cod liver or rosemary. It doesn't seem to work as well but since DR works just as well on the face and on scar tissue, it's always good for skin and likely to help hair.
