I’m in the same situation :

4 months with liquid: HUGE improvement I was very happy except for irritation , itchy scalp and dandruff but a lot of regrowth
Then 4 months on Foam, massiv shed , back to step one (maybe worse)

Now, I’m back on liquid since one month:
1. I can see a lot of little hairs on the hairline, which grow back (ouf!)
2. But on the rest of my head I can’t really see anything yet…

do you think my Hairs will grow back with liquid, since I was reactiv?
The Foliculs Should not be already Dead isn’t it?
I just hope Foam didn’t KILL my hairs ;)

Libertine, I can understand your point of view, but when have you notice your regrowth with the foam? 4 5 months later?
If you go on Hairlosshelp there is a survey on foam, and 80% of people are not happy with it...and they use it for more than 9 months for plenty of them...
so... :dunno: :dunno:

tuco80 your story is very similar to mine!

4 month with liquid huge improvement.
3.5 month with foam, i loose it all and back to baseline or worst.

I reestarted liquid 5 days ago to see what happens..

if you had restarted liquid 5 days ago, you should (for me it was the case) see an increase in your shedding during the first days , and the shedding could persist for 15 days...after 15 days max, my shedd had completely stopped!

yea nd im part of that so called 'survey' ,the foam is miles better ,people just havent got the strength to ride the big sheds out,you want dramatic results you gotta be prepared for initial dramatic loss, simple as

Libertine: how long did you ride out the sheds for before you realised there was an improvement?

I changed to the foam about 4 months ago and there seems to be a decrease in my hair count. I'm gonna keep with it, but I am tempted to go back on the liquid after reading of some people's experiences.

i started shedding heavily about one month into treatment,id say i only really stopped losing loads about a month ago and ive been on it for 8/9 months..............i basically saw increased shedding for about 6 months........my hair looked the worst it had in 2 years of the big three but now it looks the best it has .

Thanks Libertine. You've given me the confidence to continue. I've been on the Big 3 since January and replaced the liquid minoxidil with foam in July.

Can someone describe how the minoxidil solution makes your hair look? Do you leave it in while you go out or do you wash it out? How does it make your hair look in comparison to Revivogen scalp therapy(if you've used it)? Is it greasy? Does it make your hair more manageable? Does it smell? Details...details...I'm a minoxidil liquid newbie.
