That's right folks. If we are gonna go bald eventually, then why not take steroids or supplements to assist us in getting in shape? The hair loss risk is not a factor anymore. For those of us that are gonna shave our heads and want to look good, getting in great physical shape is a must. What do you guys think?

By the time I'll have to shave my head, I want to get real big. I want to build a lot of muscle.

Take protein, Creatine, NO2 and other similar suff but do not take steroids. You don't need them to get big. It might take a bit longer, but its worth it.

it's funny, but i hear all those body builders you always see in magazines actually have big hairloss and excess body hair issues because of steroids. i guess it's the norm to get hair transplant and laser hair removal early in that profession.

Once you make the jump to take roids you always have to take roids. If you go off you shrink back to a pathetic size. Ironicaly It is much like our beloved rogaines effect on the hair shaft.

I would think that shrunken testicles, liver damage, possible tumors would make my list of concerns!!

Honestly, unless your on a really long uncontrolled cycle chances are you wont get those problems. Just do research beforehand

One possibility is your testes will be shut down impotence and no libido - this is somewhat more common

in my case, the impotence/lack of libido is no problem ;P!

Roids give a great boost...if you don't abuse you probably won't get the side effects. My friends have done it...and gained a lot of size. One of them went off it and stopped working out...and he still kept a good amount of the size. Go for it....just dont abuse it

I find it ironic that men who are taking Propecia and altering their hormone levels would be so quick to jump on men that take steroids.

The fact of the matter is both can be equally damaging to the body depending on the dose, the duration of time on the drug and how the individual will react to the drug.

Although... you dont come across a constant barrage of threads realted to health issues from men taking steroids when comparred to men who take finasteride. Go check a bodybuilding site sometime and try to find men that complain about steroids causing health problems. Then compare it to the amount of men who have had health related horror stories from finasteride.

From knowing and talking to a great many steroid users, not abusers.

Fact: Your not going to die taking propecia at any dose, small or an insanely high dose.

Fact: With steroids your playing russian roulette with your body at a small dose or high.

People who take or endorse steroids need to be whacked round the side of the head with a big fish.

Not very scientific--I have done a Google on steroids and side effects. Try it, there are meta analysis that will literally make your hair fall out just reading them. And these are not forum chats, these are published studies and analysis from med school professors, etc.

If you try to equate the two scientifically, sorry, you are not on solid ground here with your comments.

Pretty poor basis for your statment, no? That is like saying that FABAO works for hair loss because you heard it many times.

The science does not support you here I think.

Sir, my comments, (scientific or not) are still very much valid simply becaue they come from EXPERIENCES of my own and/or others. I think that those are valid observations that deserve consideration. i can pull out one "scientific test" after another on just about any topic and the range of conclusions will be all over the map. That is the case with, low carb diets, the womans pill, hormone replacment therapy, antidepressents, milk, meat, etc...

However, when there are numerous amouts of men complaining about health issues due to what they think finasteride caused, that simply cannot go ingored, no matter what Merck or any other company has to say about it.

No one can deny the ABUSE of steroids is without danger. I am not disputing that and I resent that some of you think that us users are too dumb to understand some the dangers of participating in steroid use, BUT you come off as hypocrites if you think that finasteride is not without its dangerous as well.

To date, there has not been one proven steroid related death. That is a fact. This can not be denied, so the argument is moot. Most side effects from steroid use can be comparred to sides with finasteride. So how is one worse than the other? Oh, because Merck has "scientific tests" that say finasteride is well tollerated?

Most steroid users are not abusers. We will never see any health problems due to our use and I think this can be verified if one spends some time talking to actual people who engage in such activities. i dont think that its fair that some of you take cheap shots at steroid users when you just might find yourself holding a dead penis in your hand from your finasteride use in the future. Dont laugh, as it has been the experience of some finasteride users but that hasnt stopped any of you from engaing in its use. So which one of use is dumber than the other?

I would take my chances any day of the week with Propecia than i would with steroids. They have been many, many deaths linked to steroids clearly you would know that if you worked that muscle inside of your head more and did some research. The mere FACT that your even COMPARING the dangers of propecia to steroids shows what an idiot you are.

Please by all means take steroids, we could do with a few less morons in this world. Why dont you be a real man and workout properly instead of taking the PUSSY route and injecting sh*t into your veins.
