Bald Spots in teens.

im 14 and recently a bald spot has appeared on the crown of my head right at the back where my parting should end, i noticed this after i used a john freda all blonde shampoo thing but i dont know if that caused it. also i have had a bald spot in the past about 5/6 years ago and it went away. i am really self concious about it and very worried about it growing bigger. iv looked at some articles on the net and seen some pictures but i dont think i have that a thing. im also malnutritoned and currently on a new diet for that but it hasnt affected it. i am wondering if it could be stress cause my life is rather stressful, can anyone give me advice or some comforting words? please im really worried about it

About the spot on the back of your head. Is it bald and round? If so you may have alopecia areata. That is a form of hairloss where it looks like a bald round patch instead of thinning. It can be brought on by stress and can grow back. You may have had it before. I would see your doctor and they can tell you for sure by looking at it. Good luck and post at heralopecia.
