I would disagree.

Baldness hurts overall appearance a LOT. Dont forget you still have some hair on top that frames your face.
Once man lose his frame, he is losing simetry and becoming not so good looking.

I spent A LOT of time thinking about this, and trust me, its BETTER to be average looking (face) with NW1, then good looking NW4 !!!
Only things that help are head shape and GETTING TAN.

BBSA, I am glad you got help as you truly were disturbed. I have never been to your level but I did recover and evolve. I won't lie and tell you I sometimes regress but overall I have evolved. I am glad you are showing signs of the same. Keep up your therapy.

"Those guys"

Dude, that's Brad "Uber jawline" Pitt and George "Getz women wet" Clooney. Hairloss would destroy their looks. Give Cristiano Ronaldo a thinning NW3 and average physique and he wouldn't be adored has he his now.

Hairloss can **** up even the best looking men. This "if you're good looking before, you'll be still good looking" is total bollox.

Give Ronaldo a THICK NW3 and he wont be adored as now.

Point: Hairloss have bigger impact on good looking guys since they are losing great aestethics and dropping to average zone.
Average guys, bald or not, stays average.

+1

Also note that in the pics, their style and clothes are for non-bald look, and I've mentioned here before that clothes which suit NW2 guys are completely unsuitable for NW6 guys.

Brad Pitt would do just fine bald and shaved. Clooney would take a huge hit as part of his appeal is the playful look (=youth). And playful look is completely unsuitable for baldites. I dont think he has played a badass. Pitt on the other hand, has been in badass roles.

The first pic of Brad Pitt in the tie is completely ridiculous in my opinion, there's no way his forehead is that big and his natural headshape would not look like that bad and disproportioned, it looks more like mine tbh, lol and like Capt Forehead says the clothes in the Clooney pic are strictly for the non bald look and I've gotta say, over here I do see a lot of young NW6/7 guys who certainly don't do themselves any favours attention wise when they wear these douchey looking, poka dot/floral shirts and brightly coloured multi dye tshirts you see in topman and other stores... I mean allegedly all this 90s retro garb is "fashionable" for guys thesedays but even as a NW3 I wouldn't dream of wearing that scheit, it looks so feminine and emasculating even on nw1s, so god knows how these young nw6/7 guys can go to bars and clubs dressed in that clownish looking stuff. Surely it's only going to attract more negative attention towards them from as%holes in public. I think with sensibly chosen clothes bald guys can look classy, very sharp and blend in very nicely in public no problem, but when they try to wear all this ultra on trend teenager stuff, it looks like a total car crash. Choice of clothes make a massive difference in my opinion.

Not even Jason Statham shaves his head, shaved look is the hardest look to pull.

That last one of brad pitt looks alot like me. I want to tip a bus over every time I hear someone say good looking guys don't loose points when going bald. If anything it is worse because you become a walking contradiction that is visually hard to swallow. A handsome, youthful face clashing with the elderly repugnance of a bald head draws more unwanted attention than your run of the mill bald guy.

Yes hair loss is ugly because it doesn't fit into the description of a universally handsome man, which does incidentley exclude other features as well. Baldness is equated with old age which is the opposite of youth/beauty.... by definition. I think Slipy said it best with "something as categorically ugly as baldness."

Brad pitt and clonney are prrtty boy types and not masculine types

Willis is too pale and pasty to pull baldness off.

How about the fact that Bruce Willis is nearly 60 years old? Why do people point to these old bald guys like it's supposed to make a young bald man feel better? Nobody under 30 thinks Patrick Stewart is sexy. Even The Rock and Mr. Statham are in their 40's.

Lets see if Hollywood can find us a bald role model under the age of 32.

There must be some congenital correaltion between pale/fair-skinned bald guys, who by and large have weak, non-masculine structures ie non-existent jawline, small chin, weak coloured facial hair etc etc, vs darker skinned/darker haired bald men, who as a whole look so much better, and just due to the shadow, but actually having stronger aforementioned features.

exactly. all male pattern baldness sucks but it's worse for very good-looking men to go bald in their 20s than for average-looking men. going from a 9 to a 5 is a bigger drop than a 5 to a 4. there is no 9/10 man with male pattern baldness. even statham is a 7 tops. jude law is a great example: 9 with hair, 6 bald. all women talk about is how handsome he was before he went bald. "you used to be so handsome" is much worse than simply "you're going bald." you're psychologically accustomed to being good-looking and being received as such. now your whole identity changes. much more complex issue to deal with.

Been truly bald for a few months now. Life is great. I'm having a transplant for the front of my scalp soon, but it's just have a bonus. I'm not really desperate for hair.

It's true that those trolls from PuaHate are great entertainment :p.

Are we seeing little hints from you that you finally coming over to the "bald is not that bad after all" side from the "im so depressed my life is ruined" side?
