I can relate OP. Went to a New Years lunch and dinner - had an okay time but there was no moment when hair loss wasn’t percolating in the back of my mind.

Declined to go out for post dinner drinks. A baldie can only be around fullheads for so long before retreating into his literal and metaphorical diffused bird’s nest in the fetal position. Absolutely has a Kafkaesque, nightmare quality to it.
