This is actually something I've heard from multiple women, when just shooting sh*t about hairloss and such. Their rationale is:
- Balding men that haven't shaved their heads (i.e elaborate cover-ups / combovers / concealers / etc.) yet, are signaling denial or desperation - which is a turn-off.
- Balding men that actively treat their hair loss, are seen as insecure and superficial - because they're trying to fight the inevitable, and should just be men enough to shave their heads. Which is also a turn-off. It's signaling "I'm so self-conscious about my hair, I'm willing to spend thousands of dollars to keep what is left, instead of just getting over with it".
- However, once you've first shaved your hair, you must not show insecurity - as that's a turn-off as well. You must also accept that certain women just don't like the shaved / short haired look...but only if it's natural / not contrived.
- Women get a free pass on all kinds of cosmetic enhancements, while men do not. Men should figure out, and survive with the tools they're given.
That's the gist of what I've hear from some. It all really boils down to: Showing insecurity or denial is a turn-off, and you should spend your time and resources on more important things - But you should also accept that certain women only like fullheads.
